Description
Murder in Mesopotamia is a work of detective fiction by British writer Agatha Christie, first published in the UK by the Collins Crime Club in July 1936.
The plot of Murder in Mesopotamia revolves around an archeologist’s wife who suffers from a strange nervousness, which everyone at the Hassanieh dig attributes to her love of self-drama. Only after she is murdered on the shores of the River Tigris in Iraq, struck down by some heavy object, does anyone begin to consider her fears real.
