David Copperfield is a novel by English author Charles Dickens, narrated by the eponymous David Copperfield, detailing his adventures in his journey from infancy to maturity. After enduring an abusive stepfather, child labor, and poverty, David finds stability with his aunt, Betsey Trotwood.
