Description

Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas is a 1870 science fiction adventure novel by the French writer Jules Verne. 

The story follows Professor Pierre Aronnax, his servant Conseil, and harpooner Ned Land, who are captured by the mysterious Captain Nemo aboard his advanced submarine, the Nautilus. They explore the world’s oceans, visiting Atlantis and the South Pole while witnessing stunning marine life, yet they are prisoners. Nemo, an exile, uses the submarine to escape civilization and enact revenge against imperial powers, leading to a perilous journey that ends with their daring escape.
