Stories from the Thousand and One Nights is Volume 16 of the original The Harvard Classics series compiled and edited by Charles W. Eliot and first published in 1909 by P.F. Collier & Son. This is facsimile reprint from collector sets of Grolier editions from 1995.
It features folk tales adapted/translated by Edward William Lane and revised by Stanley Lane-Poole. It begins with the frame narrative of King Shahryar and Scheherazade and spans several primary interconnected tales from the early nights, including the stories of the merchant, the fisherman, and the porters and ladies of Baghdad.
